Clickbank affiliate

Hello,

I am using DLG with clickbank and plan to introduce "lite" versions of my software. When a sale is made, we would like to also know which clickbank affiliate is responsible for the sale so we can store it in our database and then have them paid if the customer upgrades. Can this be done?

Hi Andrew,

It's possible, though would take some modifications. Being a software developer, you can probably do them yourself.

DLGuard has a file named "cbhandler.php" - this is the file you add to Clickbank's Instant Notification system so that when a sale or refund is made, DLGuard knows about it.

Instead of putting that file into your Clickbank account, put a URL to your own file that you write.

This file can read the POST details from Clickbank which inlcude an affiliate's details.

Then, you need make sure that your script then POST's the Clickbank details to DLGuard's cbhandler.php file.

So basically your file reads the details, does what it needs to do, then sends them to DLGuard.

Does that make sense?
