My client wants to offer a coupon -- any tricks or bumps

Hi All - My client wants to add a promotional coupon for his product. Are there any tricks, special options I can make my client aware of, or bumps in the road I should avoid? Thanks

I'd recommend making the coupon something simple and easy to spell. Keep in mind this coupon may get passed around on forums, etc., but this can actually attract sales that you may not have previously had.
