Do
I have to upgrade?
No, you do not have to upgrade. You
can continue to use DLGuard as it is.
I
just bought DLGuard, why do I have to
upgrade already?
You don't if you don't wish to, but
I recommend you do as there is a totally
FREE option of upgrading for you. Just
enter your DLGuard v3 receipt number
and choose the Free Upgrade option.
Why
do I have to pay for upgrades?
This version 4 upgrade as a Free option
for DLGuard v3 members, so you don't
need to if you don't wish.
Other
companies offer free upgrades for life
- why don't you?
Because I like to offer quality products
that are consistently updated. You'll
notice that companies that offer free
upgrades for life hardly ever send out
updates, you'll find your feature requests
are ignored, and you'll find that when
an upgrade is released it's usually
about half a days worth of development
work.
When
DLGuard upgrades are released, you'll
notice BIG changes, REAL changes, and
changes that you yourself may have even
requested.
Systems
that offer free upgrades for life are
often abandoned for the "next big
money puller" that the company
has designed. DLGuard is our main product,
which is why we spent 95% of our time
on it.

can rely on DLGuard.
How
much do the upgrades cost?
The upgrades and support system is described
here.
After your one year expires you are
offered a discount rate of only $47
for another year of customer support
and upgrades, if you upgrade within
two weeks of expiry.
If
you don't choose to renew at that time,
you can still renew at a later date
for the usual price of $67. By renewing
early, we offer you a generous discount
for your continued support.
What's
the difference between the free upgrade
and the $27 upgrade to DLG 4?
There are no differences between the
free upgrade product and the $27 upgrade
product - you're still getting the same
DLGuard v4 software.
The
difference between the options is the
length of time you'll continue to receive
upgrades and customer support.
The
Free Upgrade will give you free upgrades
and support for 1 year from the time
you bought or upgraded to DLGuard v3.
So if you bought DLGuard v3 two weeks
ago, you'll get 11 months and two weeks
worth of upgrades and support.
This
option is designed to make sure people
who have recently bought DLGuard are
not out of pocket.
The
$27 Upgrade will give you one full year
of upgrades and support from the day
you upgrade to v4. This is a $67 value,
and highly recommended for people who
have owned DLGuard v3 for a little while.
What
if I don't own DLGuard v3?
Then you'll need to upgrade to DLGuard
v3 before you upgrade to v4. Contact
us if this is the case, and you
would like to upgrade.
So
why, exactly, did you choose to change
upgrade and support systems?
Many reasons. It's actually something
I've been looking at for a long time,
and it's something that's been recommended
for a long time (sometimes by prospective
DLGuard members, sometimes by existing
DLGuard members).
The
best outcome of the new system means
that we're able to release upgrades
to DLGuard more often. We don't need
to hold back certain features while
we're building up to a major release
so that people feel they're getting
their money's worth, we can simply continue
to offer you the best customer support
and new features that you've come know.
Is
the future of Internet Marketing changing?
It sure is. More and more "Internet

will be moving to a standard software
industry contract where clients are
offered free upgrades and support for
one year, and are then given the choice
to renew if they wish.
